As we step into a new year, I do so with gratitude, humility, and an unshakable belief in the people of St. John’s City South. This community is strong. It is resilient. It is filled with talent, culture, industry, and untapped potential. And in 2026, we must decide—together—to unlock that potential.
The past years have tested us. Many families are still feeling the pressure of rising costs, limited opportunities, and uncertainty about the future. Yet through it all, our people continue to stand tall. That tells me one thing clearly: City South is ready for better leadership, better outcomes, and a better future.
As your UPP caretaker, I commit to continued advocacy, action, and accountability. I am not here to make empty promises—I am here to serve. To listen. To work. To fight for a community where opportunity is not reserved for a few, but shared by all.
Our constituency is rich in diversity, skill, culture, and ambition. When we come together—young and old, workers and entrepreneurs, long-standing residents and new citizens—we become unstoppable. The future of City South will not be shaped by division, but by unity, fairness, and people-centered leadership.
In 2026, we have an opportunity to choose progress. To choose dignity. To choose a representative who understands the everyday struggles of our people and has the courage to speak truth, demand accountability, and deliver real results.
I am asking you to place your trust in Franz deFreitas at the next general election—so we can get to work restoring hope, strengthening families, empowering youth, supporting small businesses, and building a community that works for everyone.
This is not about politics as usual. This is about purpose. This is about service. This is about securing a better future for our children and protecting the promise of this beautiful nation we call home.
Let 2026 be the year we rise together.
Let it be the year we reclaim our power.
Let it be the year we shape a future worthy of Antigua and Barbuda.
Together, we can change the outcome.
Together, we can build the future.
Together, we move forward.
Happy New Year, City South.
The work continues — and the best is yet to come.
