Celebrating the remarkable story of Kyann Roberts on his Graduation

From the proud community of Bendals, Antigua, a powerful story of excellence, leadership, and perseverance continues to unfold—one that reflects the very best of Antigua and Barbuda. It is the story of Kyann Roberts, a son of the soil whose academic achievements are matched by his character, service, and vision for impact.

Kyann pursued his higher education at Midwestern State University, where he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration during the 2023–2024 academic year, graduating Cum Laude. This achievement alone marked him as a disciplined and high-performing scholar, but it was only the beginning. Recognizing the growing importance of data, strategy, and informed decision-making in modern leadership, Kyann advanced directly into a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Analytics. During the 2024–2025 academic year, he distinguished himself at the highest level, graduating with a perfect GPA of 4.0.

On Friday, 12 December 2025, Kyann Roberts proudly crossed the graduation stage, completing both degrees with distinction and setting a standard of excellence that resonates far beyond the classroom.

Leadership has been a defining feature of Kyann’s university experience. He served as President of Circle K International, where he led impactful service initiatives, strengthened organizational systems, and fostered meaningful community engagement. His leadership style—grounded in empathy and accountability—created environments where collaboration and service could thrive.

Within Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, Kyann held multiple executive positions, including Vice President of Chapter Operations and Chancellor. In these roles, he contributed to member development, ensured chapter compliance, and supported strategic planning efforts that strengthened the organization’s long-term effectiveness. He also remained actively engaged with the Caribbean Student Organization, where he promoted cultural awareness, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for Caribbean and international students navigating campus life far from home.

Kyann’s leadership and service were formally recognized when he received the Viola Grady Leadership Award at Midwestern State University—an honor reserved for students who exemplify integrity, commitment to service, and excellence in leadership. Beyond titles and awards, Kyann is known for his ability to uplift others, build supportive communities, and lead with purpose rather than ego.

His journey has not been without sacrifice. As an international student from a single-parent household, Kyann balanced academic pressure with financial responsibility, time away from family, and the emotional weight of being far from home. Throughout it all, he remained driven by a deep desire to honor the sacrifices of his mother, Kascel Jacobs, and to create pathways of opportunity not only for himself but for those he leads and mentors.

Today, his success is celebrated with pride and gratitude by his entire family circle—his mother Kascel Jacobs, his brother Kyron Roberts, his grandmother Gweneth Simon, his auntie Kellyn, and a wider family and community who recognize the significance of this achievement.

Looking ahead, Kyann plans to build a career that blends business analytics, strategic leadership, and service. He aspires to influence organizational strategy through data-informed decision-making while mentoring students and professionals—particularly international students and individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. His long-term vision is clear: to lead with purpose, inclusivity, and impact, and to give back to the communities that shaped him—from Bendals, Antigua, to the global stage.

Kyann, may God continue to guide, protect, and bless you. We love you.
Antigua and Barbuda celebrates you—not only for what you have achieved, but for the leader you are becoming.
